DAV Public School organised Annual function of LKG and STD-1

Amritsar, December 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – With the blessings of Arya Ratan,Padma Shree Dr.Punam Suri President DAV CMC New Delhi and under the guidance of Dr. Neelam Kamra Regional Officer Punjab Zone-A and Dr. Pushpinder Walia Manager of the school and Principal BBK DAV College Women.  424 students of LKG and Std-I presented their Annual Function Transition Chintan – Part 2 on December 19 in Urvi Auditorium with great zeal and exuberance.

The children exhibited breathtaking performances on the theme of Change  in the field of  Technology, customs and traditions, Nature, attires etc. through captivating and gripping dance, drama and ramp walk.

The program was presented in 2 shows, morning and evening. ADCP ll  Prabhjot Singh Virk  graced the morning show as the chief guest  and ACP Varinder Singh Khosa was the chief guest for the evening show. The chief guest ADCP Prabhjot Singh Virk appreciated the school for choosing a wonderful theme and advised parents to spend more time with their children and avoid excessive use of gadgets which is drifting the young generation from family, moral values and ethics.

The chief guest for the evening show Mr. Varinder Singh Khosa Assistant Commissioner of Police Amritsar North enlightened the audience with his words of wisdom and appreciated the school for mass participation and for instilling virtues in children.

The Guest of Honour for the morning show Dr. Neelam Kamra Regional Officer Punjab Zone A congratulated the school, parents and teachers. Advocate Sudarshan Kapoor a senior LMC member and chairman of various schools and colleges of DAV presiding officer for the evening show. The Guest of Honour for the evening show Dr. Pushpinder Walia Manager of the school and Principal BBK DAV College for women, lauded the efforts of the children and congratulated the students and teachers for putting up a brilliant show.

Principal Dr. Pallavi Sethi thanked the elite gathering and extolled the hard work of the staff and the students. She expressed her gratitude to the parents for their hand holding and support in every endeavour made by school.

The distinguished guest who graced the evening show was Dr. Ekta Khosla Principal, R.R Bawa DAV College for girls Batala and LMC member of DAV Public School Lawrence Road Amritsar. She also thanked the Co-curricular in charge Miss Shama Sharma and Cantt incharge Miss Anuradha Grover along with the teachers and helper staff for their relentless efforts.
