NSS Unit of BBK DAV College for Women observed National Youth Day

Amritsar, Jan 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – NSS Unit of BBK DAV College for Women observed National Youth Day in commemoration of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand informed Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra. Paper Reading Contest was conducted in this regard. Programme Officer Jaspreet Bedi spoke on the theme of “National Youth Day”. She said that Swami Vivekananda linked morality with control of the mind, seeing truth, purity, and unselfishness as traits which strengthened it. She further added that Purity, perseverance and patience are the three principles of Swami Ji’s philosophy. Volunteers Tania, Jagjeet Kaur, Roshni and Amarpreet were declared prize winners. Programme officer Dr. Shweta Kapoor also motivated the volunteers to work for the three ‘P’s.
