DAV Public School Celebrated the Spirit of Raksha Bandhan

Amritsar, August 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV Public School Lawrence Road celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. A special morning assembly was organised to acquaint students with the cultural significance of the festival and highlight the values of love, affection, respect and the bond of siblinghood.

The assembly commenced with an informative presentation highlighting the significance of Raksha Bandhan and its message of care, protection and mutual respect. Students presented colourful cultural performances, including a melodious poem and songs, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere. Through the celebration, students were encouraged to understand the deeper values associated with the festival and appreciate India’s rich cultural heritage.

Ms. Sween Puri Manager DAV Public School Amritsar appreciated the meaningful celebration and remarked that Raksha Bandhan reminds us that true relationships are nurtured through trust, understanding and unconditional support. She encouraged the students to carry these values beyond their homes and classrooms by being kind, considerate and supportive towards one another.
