BBK DAV College for Women secured 3rd position in 19th Open National Youth Festival

Amritsar, Feb. 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – 14 students along with 8 teachers from the Dept. of Music and Dance, BBK DAV College for Women represented Punjab in 19^th Open National Youth Festival held at Guwahati. The team participated in 5 events, Four Competitive and One Non-Competitive i.e. Music Vocal Classical, Classical Instrumental Sitar, Classical Dance Kathak, Group Folk Song and Folk Orchestra. Group Folk Song secured 3^rd position out of 27 teams which participated. Mrs. Ritu Sharma Head Dept. of Music & Dance accompanied the team in the capacity of Deputy Contingent Incharge, Punjab. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated and blessed the winners.
