BBK DAV College team got 1st Runner-up position in Lawn Tennis Championship

Amritsar, Feb. 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Lawn Tennis team of BBK DAV College for Women got 1^st Runner-up position in Guru Nanak Dev University Inter College Lawn Tennis Championship held at Laurels Lawn Tennis Academy, Amritsar from 23^rd to 24^th Feburary 2015. BBK DAV Girls beat K.M.V College, Jalandhar. The College players gave a very splendid show individual Manpreet Kaur beats H.M.V. player Varnika with score 6-4, 6-3 & K.M.V player Pawndeep Kaur with score 6-3, 6-2 and in double Manpreet & Rajwinder beat K.M.V. team with score 6-2, 6-2. Other team member is Gaganpreet Kaur. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated the players and wished them good luck for their upcoming tournament. Mrs. Sweety Bala HOD, Sports Department and Teacher Ms. Savita Kumari, congratulated the winners and appreciated them for their efforts.
