SGHPS Organizes Detour to Singapore

Amritsar, June 23 (Manjit Kaur) – To make the students acquaint with Global perpesctives and to provide them an opportunity to relate their classsroom learning to the real world, SGHPS organized a six day recreational trip to Singapore. During this trip students explored the land of intrigued fantacies and visited many worth seeing places among them the first they visited was ‘Universal Studio Singapore’ where students rejoiced cutting edge rides, shows and attractions based on blockbuster films and TV series. They also went to Singapore city tour where they enjoyed visiting Merlone Tower Gardens by the bay, China Town, Orchard Road and Botanic Garden. The tour also included Sentosa  Island. The under water world was the centre of attraction there. The another mesmerizing experience for the students was a visit to the Night Safari. The students also got an opportunity to meet Mr. Kartar Singh Thakral and Mr. Rikhipal Singh Thakral, the  Veteran Bussiness Tycoons Singapore. This meeting provided a wonderful opportunity to students and other members of the trip to discuss educational opportunities in Singapore. Students expressed that it was very valuable and life long learning experience for them.

          Harminder Singh Member Incharge of the school told SGHPS always remains in the limelight for arranging international excursions every year for its students as such international trips not only consolidate the students’ existing knowledge but also expand their horizons and abilities. Dr. Dharamveer Singh Principal/Director SGHPS asserted that as the tour leader and being one of the particpants he could say that the acquisiton of knowledge and the interpersonal happiness they obtained from this trip could hardly be acquired from books and lectures. He also expressed his gratitude to the management of CKDCS and especially to S. Charanjit Singh Chadha, President CKDCS for his guidance to manage the trip.
