Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Bhagtanwala celebrates Baisakhi

Amritsar, 15 April (Jasbir Singh Saggu)- Student and staff of  Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Bhagtanwala celebrated Baisakhi with great pomp & show on  Friday. S. Pritpal Singh Sethi ,Hony Member Incharge of the school spared his precious time to grace the occasion. S. Ajit singh Bursar under Secretary Edu. Committee CKDCS also attended the function. An inter house Turban Tying competition to mark the birth anniversary of Khalsa Panth was also held on this occasion. All the contestants tied their turbans exceptionally well which made it difficult for the Judges to decide the winner of the contest. The school bubbled up with activities when the students performed the short cultural programme which included Folk song, Gatka & Bhangra. Hony. Member Incharge gave away the prizes to the winners of Inter House Turban Tying Competition.  Principal Mrs. Kanwalpreet Kaur honoured the kids of the school who embraced Khalsa path by getting baptized during the year 2013-14.
