Amritsar, Sept. 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal inaugurated the physical work at Sultanwind village with a view to providing 100 percent civic amenities including sewerage, supply of potable water, roads, streets, street lights etc. Mr. Badal accompanied by Local Bodies Minister Mr. Anil Joshi and former Vice Chairman of Punjab Agro Industries Mr. Gurpartap Singh Tikka inaugurated the work. He also announced that by the end of next year the work will be completed as the project has been awarded to one of the best company of the country.
Briefing about the project Mr. Badal said that after completion of work Sultanwind Village, Daburji, Kot Mit Singh, Khalsa Nagar and adjacent localities of the area would have complete cover of civic amenities. He also announced that by the mid of next year the holy city would get complete facelift.
