Ultimatum of Mass Leave to District Education office for  Sept. 16

Amritsar, Sept. 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  SSA/RMSA District President Vikas Kumar gave an ultimatum to D.E.O (Elementary Education) for mass leave on September 16. In a press statement Mr. Vikas Kumar said that present government is exploiting the youth by deploying them on contract and giving them meager salaries. He stated that CM of Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal is highlighting achievements of his government at various Sangat Darshan and few days ago at Baba Bakala the CM said that government has fulfilled every promise made by government, Whereas reality is that employees are working on meager salaries and they are not being regularized irrespective of tall promises by the State Government.

                        The President also stated that on  August 25 Education Minister Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema promised the employees to regularize them and to accede to their pending demands. He also directed the high officials to solve all the issues speedily but nothing has been done in this regard. He further told that center government has released budget with 107% DA for the Physiotherapist and RMSA employees but they are still longing for the increased salaries, now employees are fed up with false promises of the department and the government and no alternative has been left for the employees but to struggle.

The district President Vikas Kumar said that al the SSA/RMSA employees of the state including the employees of D.G.S.E will go on mass leave on September 16 and will hold protest march by beating the Thalis in Amritsar. He also stated if government does not accept the demands of employees, this struggle will be intensified. Present on this occasion includes  APC ( Gen.) Rupinder Singh, APC (Finance) Laxmi Sharma, Narinder Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Tanvir Singh, Sukhraj Kaur etc.
