Why Congress stopped the compensation of Border Area Farmers

 Amritsar, 18 April (Punjab Post Bureau)- Arun Jaitley, BJP-SAD Candidate from Amritsar as traveled extensively in the border areas to feel the ground reality of farm sector. He also visited villages around the fencing area, where he interacted with the farmers and inquired about the problems they are facing. interacting with farmers in village Dhariwal – Udder he expressed his genuine concern and solidarity for them and promised full co-operation and compensation for them. Mr.Jaitley praised farmer’s spirit to sacrifice their produce and earnings for the cause of nation. During rallies in village Bachiwind and Chogawan,  He strongly attacked central government that why has it stopped the compensation  scheme, started by Vajpayee government to the farmers  having lands in the fencing areas. He further said that it is the sheer act of indifference on part of central government. He asked captain to go to the farmers around the fencing areas and to explain them the reasons to stop the compensation scheme. He said that this shows the anti-farmer face of the UPA government which has the least concern for farmers and down trodden. Speaking in the rallies Mr. Veer Singh Lopoke appealed to the people of the area to vote for Mr. Jaitley, as he will hold an important portfolio in the NDA government to be formed after the elections and will solve the genuine concerns of the Amritsar.  Parminder Singh, Rana Lopoke, DP chandan also attended the rallies.
