KCW Star Athletes win Gold in National Athletics

Amritsar, Sept. 22 (Dharnmendera Singh Rataul) – The star athletes from Khalsa College for Women (KCW), Navjeet Kaur Dhillon and Khushbir Kaur have brought laurels to the institution by winning the gold medals in the Open National Athletics, held at Kolkata. Navjeet Kaur won the top slot in discus throw by covering the distance of 51.17 meters while Khushbir Kaur won the gold in 20 km Race Walk, said Principal Dr. Sukhbir Kaur Mahal who congratulated the winners for their outstanding performance in the national event. She also appreciated the efforts of sports incharge Sukhdeep Kaur, coaches Jaspal Singh Dhillon and Captain Baldev Singh for the marvelous achievement and motivated them to achieve greater heights in future.
