Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel celebrated at Dav International School  

Amritsar, Oct.  (Punjab Post Bureau) – The birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, celebrated as National Unity Day by CBSE as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development by the Indian Govt, a special program was organized on the premises of DAV International School. In the Morning Assembly, students expressed their views on “National Unity – Basis of Development”. Through a Role-Play they conveyed the citizens can take a country to great heights. Students also took a pledge to maintain the unity of their country.

            In her address to the students, Principal Anjana Gupta remarked that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was an exemplary leader and students can take great inspiration from his eventful life. She added that Sardar Patel always fought for the unity of the country so we all should make efforts to maintain this unity. On this occasion, competitions like slogan writing, Poster Making and Declamation on National Unity were also conducted.
