Amritsar, Nov. 4, (Punjab Post Bureau)- Under the aegis of CBSE Expression India, a programme for the promotion and recognition of co-scholastic development was organised at National Science Centre, New Delhi. Honourable IAS, Vineet Joshi, Ex Director, CBSE graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. On this occasion, Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal, DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar was awarded with the Life Empowerment Award 2014-15 in the award category, Principal Leadership for Outstanding Endeavours. She received a Trophy and a Citation of Honour from Sh. Vineet Joshi for her meritorious leadership in the field of education. He congratulated her for her untiring endeavours to promote education and provide support for the social cause in the society. This programme was organised under the stewardship of Prof. Kavita , Chairperson South Asian University, New Delhi. Prof. J.L Pandey, Dr. H. Chaturvedi and Prof. Namita were the other dignitories present . Regional Director (Amritsar Zone) Dr. (Mrs) Neelam Kamra, Principal, BBK DAV College and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal, DAV College congratulated her for her achievement and sent their blessing for her future endeavours. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the School said that she was privileged to receive the award which had enforced her conviction in work hard and instilled in her the faith and courage to tread on the path shown by her mentors.
