Amritsar, Nov. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – On the spot painting competition was held at Indian Academy of Fine Art on Children Day. Mr. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, President IAFA was the Chief Guest. Hon. Gen Secretary Dr. Parminder Singh Grover said that 300 students from 25 Schools participated in this competition. The participants were distributed in six categories as Group ‘A’ upto 5th class, Group ‘B’ 6th to 8th class, Group ‘C’ 9th to 10th Class, Group ‘D’ +1 to +2 Classes, Group ‘E’ 9th to +2 classes and Special Category (PH) 5 Students .
Dr. K. S. Manchanda, OP. Verma, Kulwant Singh Gill, Kawal Sehgal, Sanjay Kumar, Dharminder Sharma were jury members for the competiotion and Narinder Singh Sculpture was convener for the event. The winners were awarded certificates.
Other Artists like S. Mohinderjit Singh, S. Jatinder Singh Brar, Ms. Gurjit Kaur, S. Bupinder Singh Nanda, Arvinder Singh Chamak, Sh. Gulshan Kumar Sadana, Dr. Gopal Kirodiwal, S.Shivdev Singh, S. Sukhpal Singh, and Ms. Ravinder Dhillon Er. Pushpinder Singh Grover, S. Vir Singh Randhawa gave full cooperation for the success function.
