Amritsar, Nov. 19 (Punjab Post Bureau) – SGH Pub. School Majihha Road byepass Volley Ball team made the institution proud by bagging the 2nd place in the CBSE Volley Ball cluster, 2015 (North Zone 2). The team emerged a winner after giving a tough fight as 128 CBSE schools from Punjab participated in the tournament. Now the team would be participating in the Nationals to be held at Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pardesh. Jashanjeet Singh, Gursimranpreet Singh, Gagandeep Singh have been selected for sub junior Volley Ball Championship. Harmanjeet Singh, Jobanjeet Singh, Jashanjeet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Gursimranpreet Singh have been selected for school state Volley Ball championship to be held at Khanna.
In the open State Skating Championship, Harmandeep Singh and Simritdeep Kaur made the institution proud by bagging 3 Gold Medals and 2 Gold Medals respectively. Members Incharge of the school Rajmohinder Singh Er. Jaspal Singh Ji (F.I.E) and Er. Navdeep Singh blessed and congratulated the players. Principal Mrs. Dapinder Kaur addressed the players and applauded the efforts of the players and the sports department and wished them all success for their Nationals and future endeavors.
