DAV  Public First in Poetry Recitation

Amritsar, Nov. 28 (Punjab Post Bureua)- Saksham Ratra of Std X , of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar bagged first prize in Punjabi Poetry Recitation competition organised by Child Welfare Council , Punjab at the State Level. Schools from eight districts participated in this competition . The theme for  the competition was ‘Child Safety and Protection’. The poem presented by Saksham was a self composed poem written by S.Gurbinder Singh Bhatti from Punjabi faculty of the school.

The performance of Saksham was applauded by everyone including the judges who praised him  for his meticulous presentation and meaningful poem.

Regional Director , Amritsar Zone Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra , Principal , BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road, Amritsar and the Manager of the school, Dr.Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate , Amritsar congratulated the student for his stupendous performance. They advised him to follow his passion and do his best in future.

Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded his  efforts and said that she was happy to see the students doing their best in different activities and utilising the opportunities provided to them.
