A Fete Cum Art Exhibition based on ‘Waste’ with the outcome of ‘Best’ organized

Amritsar, Dec. 20 (Punjab Post Bureau)- A  Fete Cum Art Exhibition based on the perceptual ideas of our youngsters using ‘Waste’ with the outcome of ‘Best’ was organized with full pomp and show in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Majitha Bypass under the able guidance of Honorable Principal Mrs. Dapinder Kaur. Teachers and Students, worked tirelessly to prepare for the day. It was a Gala show with the Art Exhibition depicting creativity and innovation of our shining stars. Sardar Charanjit Singh Chadha, President, Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society was the Chief Guest of the Occasion. He was escorted to the stage by our energetic folk dancers at the beat of dhol under the shade of Phulkari. It was a beautiful scene depicting our rich Punjabi Culture. Sardar Rajmohinder Singh Majitha, Former M.P & Member Incharge was the Guest of Honour. Sardar Dhanraj Singh, Sardar Nirmal Singh, Sardar Narinder Singh Khurana, Dr. Dharamveer Singh, Sardar Harminder Singh, Sardar Manmohan Singh Sethi, School Member Incharges Er. Jaspal Singh Ji, Er. Navdeep Singh Ji, Management Member of Chief Khalsa Diwan, Principals from different schools, Dignitaries and elite guests of city were present at the function. Honourable Guests were accorded a floral welcome. Huge gathering was thrilled with the cultural programmes like Qawwali, Bhangra etc by the students of the school. They enthralled the audience with their mesmerising performance. The science exhibition wherein various working & non working models made by the students were displayed garnered a lot of appreciation by the visitors. Various interesting stalls of games like Tambola, Break the pyramid, wheel of fortune,  Ring the Articles etc were set up. They grabbed the maximum attraction of our guests and visitors. There were special games for Grandparents of the students. The visitors also throughed the Mehndi , nail art and face painting still put up by the students. Everyone was elated to win attractive prizes laid out in the different game stalls. Bumper prizes – Refrigerators, LED T.V, Mobile Phones , microwave, Mink Blankets, Dinner Set, Blender etc. had been the Hub of attraction for the gathering. The entire premises was filled with excitement and enthusiasm when the bumper prizes were declared through a lucky draw. Various shopping stalls of clothes, jewellery, Handlooms etc were the source of attraction for the shopaholics as good quality was available at reasonable prices. Besides these stalls, stalls catering to the intellectual mind were set up which included Health services and academic counselling of students. Special arrangements for ‘Food Court’ were made where the crowd savored their taste buds with different food delicacies such as Pizzas, Bhelpuri etc. Children and their parents flocked towards various rides like Break Dance, Giant Wheel and Crazy Car etc and enjoyed the rides thoroughly. Everybody was charmed at the sight of rides. They were bubbling with energy at the sight of taking rides. It was the wonderful day filled with laughter, fun and community building activities. In a nutshell, the show was successful in its motive to bring about holistic development in  the students in addition to providing fun frolic moments.
