New Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia joins BBK DAV College for Women

Amritsar, Jan 2 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Dr. Pushpinder Walia joined as Principal in BBK DAV College for Women on 31^st December 2015. Principal Dr. Walia, B.A Hons., M.A. M.Phil, Ph.D, comes with a rich academic record and experience, including seven years as Principal in DAV College for Women, Ferozepur. Before joining as Principal in Ferozepur, she taught in Department of English, BBK DAV College for Women, where she coordinated and initiated various academic and co-curricular activities. Dr. Pushpinder Walia is a published researcher, and has presented her research work abroad at University of Oxford (U.K), Cleveland State University (U.S.A.) and International Conferences in Germany as well as in Scotland. With several research papers and books to her credit, Dr. Walia has also published considerable features on the socio-cultural aspects of the city of Amritsar. Having joined as Principal in BBK DAV College for Women, Dr. Pushpinder Walia intends to take the institution further by focusing on innovative programs, research ventures and academic excellence.
