CKD International Nursing College celebrates Women’s Day

Amritsar, Mar. 10 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Management, Staff and students of Chief Khalsa Diwan International Nursing College celebrated International Women’s Day in collaboration with Civil Surgeon. Dr. Darshan Sohi elaborated the topic by delving deep into the current status of women in Indian Scenario. In addition to this one of our special women guests Dr. Shefali R. Puri gave an eye opening speech on women empowerment and requested all the women and girls to explore their potentials and abilities to achieve what they desire to. Her speech was an inspiration in true sense. The students of CKDINC performed a role play on various Great women of India and they were awarded by Civil Surgeon sir. Few students also performed Bhangra (Cultural Item) to mark the celebration with joy. The students performed a Rally by holding banners, to create awareness among public regarding the concerned day, under the supervision of Madam Raj Kaur. Dr. Bharti (Medical Officer), Dr. Shefali R. Puri (Director, Austere Institute), Madam Raj Kaur (Mass Media, Officer) and Madam Manjit Kaur (PRO, CKDCS) graced the occasion with their prestige presence. Dr. Bharti, Dr. Shefali R.
