DAV Public School Pays  Homage to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajpura & Sukhdev

Amritsar, Mar. 25 (Punjab Post Bureau)- DAV Public School paid homage to the great martyrs  Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their martyrdom day. It was on 23^rd March, 1931 that they were given death sentence in Lahore jail. The teachers of the school paid rich tribute to them and sang patriotic and inspirational songs. They informed the audience about their selfless sacrifice and determination to fight for the independence of the nation.

Regional Director Punjab Zone- A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar said that the sacrifice made by the trio is an inspiration for the youth and they must imbibe such ideals for living a meaningful life. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school in her address said that youngsters today need to search inside themselves the patriotic values and the spirit of nationalism demonstrated by these three martyrs.
