Training programme regarding Juvenile Justice Act

Amritsar, Mar. 29 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Under the Able guidance of Sh. Gurbir Singh, Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority and under the supervision of Ms. Girish, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Amritsar a training programme regarding Juvenile Justice Act conducted in the Training Hall of Alternative Disputes Resolution Centre, District Courts Complex, Amritsar. The training imparted by Ms. Sushma Devi, Additional Civil Judge Senior Division-cum-Principal, Juvenile Justice Board, Amritsar and Ms. Girish, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Amritsar as trainers. The training workshop attended by the Police Officials/Incharge of different police stations of the City Amritsar, members of Juvenile Justice Board and also attended by the members of Child Welfare Committee, Amritsar. Thereafter the members of District Child Protection Unit, Amritsar were also present. Various points of Juvenile Justice Act discussed in the training programme and maximum awareness regarding Juvenile Justice Act has spread by the trainers amongst the persons present in the training programme. The problems also heard by the trainers/officers faced by the Police officials and they got awared about the solutions.
