Rashpal Singh of GNDU wins Silver Medal in North Indian Powerlifting Championship

Amritsar, 21 April (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Mr. Rashpal Singh student of M.Sc. (Hons.) Botany Sem IV from Department of Botanical and Environmental Sciences of Guru Nanak Dev University won Silver Medal by lifting 150Kg weight in the 105Kg weight category of North Indian Powerlifting Championship held at Jammu, recently.

This championship was organized by Indian Powerlifting Federation. Eight states participated in this competition. Sh. Subrata Dutta, The General Secretary of Indian Powerlifting Federation was the chief guest on this occasion and awarded prize to Mr. Rashpal Singh. He has earlier won Inter District Championship of Punjab State also.
