Young Chef of DAV Public Makes  a Mark

Amritsar, May 10 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The prestigious event Young Chef , Bankok was organised recently at IIHM, Delhi (International Institute of Hotel Management). Young Chefs from all over India participated in this one of its kind  competition held for upcoming chefs from schools. Shashwat Vohra of Std XII of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar representing North Zone , made a mark in this competition by reaching the semi – finals of the competition which was held on 19^th April , 2016 at IIHM Delhi .  The event was judged by Chef Bali, Head  of Oberoi’s and the celebrity chef , Ranveer Brar. The semifinal round  will be telecast on 15^th May  on NDTV Good Times at 8 pm and the finals of the same will be held in Bangkok. Regional Director , Punjab Zone  A , Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College Amritsar sent their best wishes for Shashwat  and blessed him for the next round. Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school said that she was happy to see her students excelling in the field of their choice. She showered her blessings on Shashwat and motivated him to be creative and follow his instincts.
