20 Students got Jobs in Joint Placement Drive at CKD Management Institute

Amritsar, July 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A Joint placement drive was organized by CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) recently in which two prominent companies Policybazaar.com and Justdial participated. More than 120 Students from GNDU and various other colleges like KCW, ACET, DAV College etc. participated in this placement drive. Five senior executives headed by Mr. Harish Yadav (HR Manager) of policybazaar.com and Ms. Tanu Sharma (HR Manager) of Justdial conducted the placement drives of their respective companies in the college campus. Selection process of Policybazaar.com was initiated with pre-placement talk followed by Group discussion through which 40 students were shortlisted. Thereafter Personal interview was conducted in which 20 students qualified for the final round. After successful completion of final Telephonic interview round 10 students got offer letters including two MBA students of CKDIMT namely Amandeep Kaur and Gurpreet Kaur designated as Associate Sales consultant with an attractive package of  Rs. 17000/- per month plus unlimited incentives. As regards Justdial company, in the first round of peronal interview, as many as 13 students were shortlisted. Second and the final round of interview was conducted at the company headquarter at Chandigarh through which 10 MBA students were selected as a Process Associate  Tele-Marketing. These include Sakshi Babbar and Gurpreet Kaur of CKDIMT on a handsome salary package of Rs.16000/- per month as well as perks. CKD President Charanjit Singh Chadha and Hony. Secy. Narinder Singh Khurana congratulated the selected students and said that it wasn’t their destiny that got them a new job,in fact it was their courage and desire to shape their own destiny that pushed them forward. CKDIMT Member Incharge Dr. Sukhbir Kqur Mahal and Principal Dr. H. S Sandhu applauded the students selection and appreciated the tireless efforts of Mr. Jagdeep Pannu (Head-Placements) for organizing the placements drive.
