BBK DAV Commences the New Academic Session 2016-17 with Havan Yajna

Amritsar, July 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Arya Yuvti Sabha & Swami Dayanand Study Centre of BBK DAV College for Women organized Havan Yajna in the college campus to mark the beginning of the new academic session 2016-17. While addressing the staff and students of the college, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that it is pertinent to remember the remarkable contribution of Swami Dayanand and Mahatma Hansraj towards enlightening the society through education. She thanked the Almighty for His utmost Grace and inspired teachers and students to give their best in the new session. She further congratulated the students who bagged top positions in May 2016 Examination of GNDU. On the occasion, Dr. V.P. Lakhanpal, Member, Local Managing Committee, emphasized the importance of inculcating vedic values among students. He added that life is a learning process and in order to succeed, we must value time. Advocate Mr. Vipan Bhasin, Member, LMC, along with students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college, participated in the Havan.
