BBK DAV College Volunteers Take ‘Swachhta Pledge’

Amritsar, Aug, 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – NSS Volunteers of BBK DAV College initiated a 15 Days programme Swachh Bharat Pakawada (August 1-15, 2016) by taking Swachhta Pledge. During this program, the college organized an awareness rally in the city on 3^rd August 2016 to emphasize the importance of cleanliness. During the programme, chart making & slogan writing competitions were held. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the programme officers and NSS Volunteers for taking this initiative. She said that it is an important step towards fulfilling dream of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi towards a clean India. She appealed volunteers to come forward for the national cause.Program officer Ms. Jaspreet Bedi & Ms. Priya inspired the volunteers for implementing the programme enthusiastically.
