BBK DAV College Represents India in Asian University Women Softball Championship

Amritsar, Sept. 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) -BBK DAV College for Womensoftball player Ms. Mandeep Kaur represented Indian Softball Team as a captain in First Asian University Women Softball Championship held in Taiwan from 22^nd to 28^th August 2016. Five countries i.e. India, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and China participated in this prestigious tournament.

While welcoming Ms. Mandeep Kaur, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated her on her outstanding achievement and said that it is a proud moment for the college. She further added that the college has always provided the players with the state-of-the-art infrastructure and other necessary facilities; that‘s why the college players have always made a mark in various national and international events. She also awarded Ms. Mandeep Kaur with a cash prize of Rs. 15000/- and equipment. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Sports Department, along with other faculty members, were also present on the occasion.
