Amritsar, October 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – University Business School (UBS) of Guru Nanak Dev University has started a series of Management Development Programme to carry forward the vision of worthy Vice-Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Prof. A.S. Brar with regard to Industry Academic Interface. Prof. B.S. Mann, Head, University Business School and Director of the Programme has concluded the latest Management Development Programme on 15/10/2016, in which dealers of Indian Oil Corporation from the cities of Jalandhar, Nawanshahr and Hoshiarpur were trained. The faculty of University Business School helped the dealers to equip them with latest management tools and practices. The Indian Oil officials and the participants appreciated the efforts done by the University Business School and valued that this initiative will help them to improve their businesses. Earlier also, University Business School has successfully conducted two Management Development Programmes for the dealers of Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran and Pathankot districts. Dr. Vikram Sandhu, Organizing Secretary of the Management Development Programme said that all these programmes were conducted very successfully and more programmes are there in pipeline for the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir in future.
