GNDU Research Scholar awarded with Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam Gold Medal Award

Amritsar, October 21 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Harmandeep Kaur, Research Scholar, Punjab School of Economics of Guru Nanak Dev University has been awarded with “Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam Gold Medal Award (Certificates, Trophy and Gold Medal) from Global Economic Progress and Research Association (GEPRA) on the occasion of 38th National Unity Conference on Individual Achievements and National Development at Bangalore.
Dr. Paramjit Nanda, Professor and Head said that this award has been distributed among 20 eminent personalities throughout India in four fields namely Research, Education, Medical and Social Services. Hamandeep was selected for this award in the field of Research in her area of specialization. This award was distributed by renowned Chief Guest namely Hon’ble M.V. Rajesekaran (Former Union Minister State for Planning, Govt. of India), Hon’ble Dr. H. Shivama (Vice-Chancellor, University of Agricultural Sciences) and Hon’ble Padmanabha Kedilaya (District Session Juge). Dr. I.S. Basha (General Secretary of Global Economic Progress and Research Association) also accompanied them.
