DAV Public Students Shine in Karate

Amritsar, November 4 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road  brought laurels to the school with their stupendous performance in 2^nd Direct Open Youth National  Karate Championship held at Alpha One recently. Hiten Sharma of Std II bagged Gold Medal in U – 9 (boys) category. Sanvi Sharma of Std II also bagged Gold Medal in U–9 (Girls) category and Vatsal Kapoor won a Bronze Medal in the same championship . All the three students have been selected for the Open Asian Karate Championship which will take place  from 28^th Nov – 30^th Nov , 2016 in New Delhi .

Regional Director Punjab Zone – A, Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh  Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar encouraged the students to give their best  and make the school and their parents proud. Dr.Neera Sharma Principal of the school praised the students for their fabulous performance at such a young age. She blessed them for the next championship and advised them to keep up the good work.
