DAV Public School First in All India Camel Art Contest

Amritsar, November 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) – It was a proud moment for the school as Parinita Mohindru of Std. IX bagged First Prize   in Group E in All India Camel Art Contest held at the National level. As many as 64 lakh students from 8000 schools from all over India participated in this competition. Another student Pallak Arora of Std XII bagged Third Prize  in group F in the same competition. They received a trophy, certificate and cash prize for their fabulous performance. Regional Director Punjab Zone-A, Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students for their excellent    performance and blessed them for their future endeavours.

Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the students. She said that art as a visual medium plays an important role in spreading awareness and raising voice against current issues. She asked the students to give their best and excel in the field of their choice.
