KCW Athletes Sweep Medals at GNDU Inter-College Tourney

Amritsar, November 7 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Like every year, this year too, Khalsa College for Women has shown excellent results in sports. The Athletics Team of Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar brought laurels to the college consecutively by achieving first position for the third year with 80 points (9 Gold, 06 Silver & 06 Bronze) medals in Inter College Tournament held at GNDU from November 03 to 05, 2016. The team won with the big margin of 30 points against HMV College, Jalandhar. Nupinder Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur, Gagandeep Kaur, Khushpreet Kaur, Navreet Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Partiksha and Manpreet Kaur have been selected for All India Intervarsity Camp to be held at Chennai.

            Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Sukhbir Kaur Mahal congratulated the team and their teacher incharge Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur and coach S. Rankirat Singh, Gurpreet Singh for their marvelous achievement and motivated them to achieve greater success in future.
