District Legal Services Authority organized Medical camp at Guru Ramdass Old Age Hom

Amritsar, December 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) – As per the directions given by Sh. Gurbir Singh, Learned District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Amritsar a medical camp was organized at Guru Ramdass Old age home. Specialists of orthopedic and eyes doctors were participated in the medical camp. Approximately 30 persons were examined in this medical camp by the Doctors. Apart from this, a seminar was also conducted at Old age home. There were about 50 persons were participated in this seminar. The Old age persons were made aware about the schemes provided by Punjab Legal Services Authority, Chandigarh. Further they were made aware about the rights of Children and women, rights under Domestic Violence Act, Special rights of women under the Constitution of India, ragging laws, rights of parents and senior citizens under the Welfare and Maintenance of Senior Citizens and Parents Act, 2007. Present on the occasion includes Rajinder Singh Bhullar, Yoginder Singh Yogi etc .
