BBK DAV College Lifts Literary Trophy In Inter-Zonal Youth Festival

Amritsar, December 6 (Punjab Post Bureau)- BBK DAV College for Women bagged the Literary Trophy and emerged among the top three colleges in the Inter-Zonal Youth Festival of Guru Nanak Dev University. College students grabbed 21 positions out of 32 events. Participants made the mark by winning 1^st position in 2 events, namely, Quiz and Debate, 2^nd position in 9 items, such as, Group Song, Western Solo, Classical Dance, Poetical Symposium, Phulkari, On-the-Spot Painting, Clay Modelling, Photography, Poster Making and 3^rd position in 10 items, viz. Classical Vocal, Vaar Singing, Western Group, Group Dance, Giddha, Fancy Dress, Installation, Collage, Mimicry and One Act Play.

Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the College faculty & Youth Welfare Department on putting in best efforts to groom participants for winning the trophy. She applauded the achievements of winners and motivated them to perform better. Dr. Ritu Sharma, Dean, Youth Welfare, Mrs.  Mandeep Sokhi, Chief Co-ordinator, Youth Welfare, Dr. Rani, Dr. Sunita, Mrs. Shefali, Mr. Lalit Gopal, Mrs. Manpreet Buttar & Mr. Ankur Sharma, Youth Co-ordinators also felicitated the winners.
