BBK DAV Makes a Mark at All India Intervarsity Judo Championship

Amritsar,  Dec 14 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Ms. Navneet Kaur and Ms. Navroop Kaur of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar won a gold medal and a bronze medal respectively at All India Interversity Judo Championship held at Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Navroop Kaur also represented team India in Jr. Asia Cup in 2015. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports. Sh. Sudershan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Managing Committee, Prof. Satinder Singh, Former Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar  & Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
