Dr. Baldev Luthra takes over as new Head of Hindi Department of DAV College

Amritsar, January 21  (Punjab Post Bureau) – Dr. Baldev Luthra took over as new Head Department of Hindi succeeding Dr Davinder Sharma who retired on 31^st December, 2016 after performing his valuable services for the department. He took over this charge in the presence of College Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar and Other HoD’s of various departments of the College. Staff Secretary Dr BB Yadav organized an Installation ceremony in which he announced appointment of Dr Baldev Luthra as new Head of Hindi Department. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar Congratulated him and briefed about Contribution of Dr Baldev Luthra and his successful journey of 28 years in the College. He added that Dr Luthra acted as Inspiring Leader and born orator who always motivated and helped students to achieve meritorious results. He also appreciated his honesty and dedication towards institution. On this occasion, Prof Kuldeep Arya, Head Department of Sanskrit presided a poem for the appraisal of Dr Luthra’s personality and Dr Davinder Sharma also wished him luck for future endeavors.  While thanking all the members present during the gathering, Dr Luthra said that he will try his best to prove his duty and will work hard to take Hindi Department to the heights. During the occasion, Dr Vishwa Bandhu, Dr Daisy Sharma, Prof Sunil Sachdeva, Dr Anita Prabhakar, Dr Darshandeep , Dr J.S Sidhu, Prof Gurdas Singh Sekhon, Dr A.k Khosla, Dr Kiran Khanna, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Prof Anuradha Sharma, Prof Seema Chauhan, Prof Seema Sharma were also present.
