KU VC Conferred Honour of Honourary Professor at PU

Amritsar, February 7 (Punjab Post Bureau)– Vice President of India in his capacity as Chancellor of Panjab University has conferred the designation of Honorary Professor upon Dr. S.S Chahal, Vice Chancellor, Khalsa University, Amritsar.

Prof. Arun Grover, Vice Chancellor of Panjab University while conveying the offer to him has mentioned that “It would be a privilege and honour to be working in association with renowned scholar and great personality like you and get an opportunity to have lectures by you for the students”, stated a press statement issued by KU today. Chahal said that he was humbled to receive the honour that makes him more committed to the cause of research and education in diverse fileds. He also thanked Satyajit Singh Majithia, Chancellor and Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, Pro-Chancellor of the varsity, who in return congratulates Dr. Chahal for his accomplishments and honour received. Dr. Chahal who is Agriculture Researcher and scholar is founding VC of KU established last year.
