National Seminar on issues in Development & Governance of Social Sector in India from Feb 24

Amritsar, February 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The School of Social Sciences of Guru Nanak Dev University is organizing a two-days UGC Sponsored National Seminar on “Issues in Development and Governance of Social Sector in India” on 24^th and 25^th of February, 2017 at Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan Auditorium of the University.

Prof. N.S. Tung, Dean, Academic Affairs would preside over the inaugural session. The inaugural address would be delivered by Dr. Rukmini Banerji, CEO, Pratham Education Foundation. About 40 Papers would be read in three Technical Sessions followed by the PANEL DISCUSSION on the theme “Goverance of Social Sector in Punjab: the Real Picture”. The Panelist would be Dr. A. Gauba, Prof. Parminder Singh, Dr. Indu R. Singh and Mrs. Amandeep Sekhon. The session would be moderated by Prof. V. Updahyay from the Deptt. of Humanities, IIT, New Delhi.
