Annual Flower Show & Garden competition 2017 at Jalandhar Cantonment

Jalandhar, March  14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Annual Flower Show and Garden competition for 2017 is being organised in Jalandhar Cantonment on 21 March 2017 from. The event will be held at Jawahar Garden and will be inaugurated by Lieutenant General BS Sahrawat, General Officer Commanding Vajra Corps. Many senior officials of the Army, BSF, Punjab Police and civil administration are expected to grace the event. The flower show and garden competition is being organised in Jalandhar Cantonment since 1924. It is a popular event which receives many entries from educational institutions, public offices and individuals, both civil and military. There are several categories of display which include foliage plants, potted flowers, cut flowers, flower arrangement etc. Prizes are also awarded for the best institutional garden, best maintained roundabouts and best arboriculture project.
