DAV Students Outshined in the University Examinations-2016

Amritsar, March 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College Amritsar bagged various merit positions in the university examinations held in December 2016. In the recent results declared by the Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, students of MSc (Physics)-I bagged 7 positions out of top ten university positions.  Karamveer Singh bagged 1^st position in university securing 82.16%, Nidhi Mehra secured 4^th position and Sandeep Kaur secured 5^th position in university.

Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated merit holders along with their proud parents. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that the college is proud of achievements of the students and motivated them to keep it up. He also applauded the efforts of PG Department of Physics and Electronics and congratulated Dr Neeru Gupta, Head of the Department and other faculty members of the Department.

On this occasion, Dr Rajesh Kumar, Dr Ajay Kumar, Prof Manpreet Kaur, Dr Narinder  Arora , Dr Neerja Kalia, Prof Meetu Singh, Dr Vibha Chopra also extended their heartiest congratulation to the students.
