Amritsar, March 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) – In their quest to promote and preserve art 14 Art personalities of Amritsar were bestowed with ‘KALA SHREE’ Awards under the banner of Protsahan by KT:Kalã (KAUSA Trust). The selection was done on the basis of their unmatchable service towards art and promotion of the same.
Artists who were given the award were in praise of this Step taken by KT: Kalã and were of the hope that these steps will definitely help in taking the art to heights. On behalf of KT:Kalã senior and renowned Artist and board member Dr. Baldev Gambhir along with Dr. K.R. Tuli and Director Brajesh Jolly honoured Kala Shree Award winners with Certificate, Bouquet and Cash prize awards to the winners Kulwant Singh Gill, Atul Mehra, Sukhpal Singh, Dr. Indu Sudhir, Priyanka Sharma, Dr. Shailender Sharma, Karuna Mohindra, Ravinder Dhillon, Gulshan Sadana, Mandeep Singh Manu, Bharti Malhotra & Manju Kumari (All Artist), Narinder Singh (Sculptor) and Ramesh Rampura (Art Promoter).
Talking to media persons Rajesh Raina Secretary KAUSA Trust said that today’s function was part of our plan to honor all the leading art personalities of Amritsar and other cities as well, he said our main motto is promotion of art so we will do anything possible within the preview of our capacity to uphold the art and honoring the art people.
The artists and art lovers of the city present on the occasion includes Bhupinder S. Nanda, Dharminder Sharma, Aanchal Arora, Dr. Lalit Gopal Parashar, Maninder Kaur, Mala Chawla, Baljinder Mann, Ms. Bela, Aakarshi Sawhney, Gursharan Kaur, Gopal Krishan Sharma, Dinesh Mohindra, H.P.Singh, Sandeep Singh, Sugandhi Sharma etc.
