Amarinder Can’t Save sinking ship of congress in Rajouri Garden : Manjinder Sirsa

New Delhi, March 31 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh can’t save sinking ship of the Congress party in Rajouri Byepolls and people of the constituency were eager to wipe out Congress from this area permanently. This was stated by the Bhartiya Janta Party and Shiromani Akali Dal combine candidate Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa here today. Addressing a series of election meetings in different areas of the Rajouri Garden assembly constituency, Mr. Sirsa said that though the Congress has managed to win in the state of Punjab under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh by promising moon to the people of the state and where people are now repenting for following for his false and hollow promises including loan waiver for farmers which he has failed to fulfill, the circumstance of Delhi are different and people are already fed up with the Congress party here because of worst performance by the Congress governments in Delhi during last more than decade and a half. He said that Capt. Amarinder Singh and his coterie is aware of this bitter truth.

            Hitting hard at the Congress for its dismal shows Mr. Sirsa said that the gathering of the outsiders from the constituency and poor shows by Capt. Amarinder Singh had already stamped the defeat of the Congress party in this election. He said that this is also a reality that the area once represented by the Congress in the state assembly is facing the poorest of infrastructure due to non performance of the Congress MLA. He said that people of the area are suffering due to apathy of the erstwhile Congress government in Delhi and there is strong anger against the party in the minds of people. Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa further said that this election is an election of positive versus negative campaign. He said that on hand BJP-SAD combine whose performance at the Centre during the last more than two years is resulting in victories for the NDA alliance in the different states and on the other is Congress and its alliance partners who are facing defeat after defeat in the elections. He also reminded the Congress leader from Punjab that one of the student of the country had even applied to Guinness Book of World Records for registration of Congress leader for creation of record of leading the party for maximum defeats. He said that this is perhaps something the people of the country are witnessing for first time. The BJP-SAD combine candidate said that the people of the Rajouri Garden constituency have already made up their mind to vote for the alliance as it was the only one whose sole agenda is development and welfare of people.
