Anchoring and Voice Culture’ Organized at Journalism Dept of Khalsa College

Amritsar, 3 April (Punjab Post Bureau) – The post-graduate department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Khalsa College Amritsar today organized a guest lecture on “Anchoring and Voice Culture”. Resource person Raman Kumar News Anchor Doordarshan Jalandhar interacted with the students and gave valuable tips on Anchoring and Voice modulation and he encouraged the students to take the challenges of the dynamic field of Journalism.          Principal Dr. Mehal Singh extended a floral welcome to the resource person. Speaking on the occasion Principal Dr. Mehal Singh said that such platforms are necessary for the students to learn out of experience of the people who dedicated their lives to the field of Journalism. He also said that the field of Higher education should not be restricted to classroom teaching but regular field exercises and interactions with the experts are very important.

            Kumar advised the young journalists on how to anchor the News shows, voice over and covering news stories. He also advised the students to enrich their vocabulary and work on their body language so as to excel in the field of news anchoring. Dr. Puneet Dhillon Head Department of Journalism And Mass Communication talked about the importance of such events and extended a vote of thanks to the resource person.
