Excellent Performance of DAV Public School Students in Painting Contest

Amritsar, May 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – All India Animal Action Education Painting Contest was organised by IFAW – WTI recently. The theme of the contest was ‘Wild Life Conservation’. Among hundreds of participants from the city the following students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar won Consolation Prize for their fabulous paintings. The students are Nurpur  Nayyar XI, Kavya Bhagat XI, Tanmay Anand X and Jaishree Handa X. They also received a letter of Appreciation for their meticulous work. Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam  Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students and encouraged them for their future endeavours. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school also applauded their efforts and said that Art is the perfect medium to spread awareness among the masses. She advised the students to perfect their skill with practice and win laurels for the school and the nation.
