Recruitment Rally at the Punjab Regimental Centre

Jalandhar, May 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Recruitment Rally  under  Unit  Headquarters Quota (UHQ) will be conducted for Outstanding Sportsmen on 17 May 2017, for Soldier Clerk on 19 May 2017 and for Soldier Tradesmen and Soldier General Duty on 22 May 2017 at The Punjab Regimental Centre, Ramgarh Cantt.  For Soldier General duty, Sikh (Except Mazhabi, Ramdasia and SC/ST), Dogra and Other Indian Castes (OIC) candidates hailing from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi,  Jammu & Kashmir, North and North West Rajasthan will be considered.

For Soldier General Duty category, candidate should have passed class X with min 33% marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate.    Candidates having higher qualification (12^th or more) need not have 45% marks in matric.  For Soldier Clerk category, Class 12^th pass candidate with min 50% marks in each subject and 60% marks in aggregate will be considered. For Soldier Tradesmen category candidate should have passed simple class 10^th.

For Soldier General Duty category the candidate should be between 17 ½ – 21 years of age and for Soldier Clerk and Soldier Tradesmen category the age of the candidate should be between 17 ½  to 23 years. Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and latest 15 colour passport size photographs (In turban and without turban) attested on back side only.
