DAV Public School Students Shine In iOEL

Amritsar, May 8 (Punjab Post Bureua) – The students of  DAV Public School Lawrence Road performed exceptionally well in 9^th International Olympiad of English Language organised by Silver Zone.  Leelank Juneja of Class II received a wrist watch and a Gold Medal for securing Olympiad Rank 4 in level 1 and Ananya Tiwari of Std X  was awarded a Gold Medal  and Pierre Cardin pen for securing State  Rank 1 in level 2 . Premansh Sahni , Ameesha Arora, Taranpreet Singh and Rishav Kundra were also  awarded Pierre Cardin pen for their outstanding achievement in level 2 of the Olympiad. Other students who received Gold Medal were Muskan Kapoor of Std I , Parth Mahajan of Std III, Eshaan Rishi of Std IV , Anoushka Rao of Std V ,  Samrath Berry of Std VI , Mehakpreet Kaur of Std VII, Anmol Singh of Std VIII, Munishwar  Sharma of Std IX .

                        Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam  Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh  Kumar , Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students for their brilliant performance. Principal Dr. Neera Sharma encouraged the students to perform to their best. She added that English is global language and students must work to become proficient in it. She said that she was happy that her students are working to meet global standards, keeping their morals and ethics high.
