Amritsar, 26 May (Punjab Post Bureau) – The process of admissions in the Guru Nanak Dev University for current session has been started. The University has started ‘Online Fee Payment’ facility using Netbanking /Credit Card /Debit Card for fresh and existing students applying for the admission to various courses in the University from the current session 2017-18 under the dynamic leadership of worthy Vice-Chancellor Sh. Anurag Verma, IAS. The University has also continued the previous fee payment method using bank challan to pay fee in cash at any branch of State Bank of India thourghout the country.
Prof. K.S Kahlon Registrar of University said that this facility will definitely provide a great relief to the students as well as their parents. The students will be able to pay fee using online facility from their home comfortably and they will not have to stand in the long queues for this purpose. He said that the University is shortly developing the online solution for payment of hostel as well as tuition fee through online facility for the convenience of the students and their parents. This will also reduce the rush in the branches of State Bank of India. The online fee payment solution is developed by the IT-Team of University under the guidance of Prof. Kahlon.
