KCGC gives warm send off to Dr. Jand, Dr. SS Sidhu is new Principal of KCVAS

Amritsar, May 31 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) today gave a warm send off to Dr. Satish Kumar Jand who had retired as Principal of Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. His services to the new College were recalled by the KCGC honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina and other office bearers and the members of the Council as he was honoured with memento during the farewell party organized in his honour.  Chhina said Dr.Jand who had been Professor and Registrar of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences (GADVASU), Ludhiana had joined the College in 2010. His services as an educationist and administrator were remembered that how he built this new institution despite the numerous challenges and took the college to new heights.

 Chhina also announced the senior most faculty member Dr. SS Sidhu as new Principal of the College and asked Dr. Jand to remain associated with the institution as guest faculty and continue guiding the staff. KCGC finance secretary Gunbir Singh, SS Abdal, Rajbir Singh, SS Mannan, Harminder Singh, Gurmohinder Singh, SS Sethi, SS Chhina, Principal Dr.JS Dhillon, Principal Dr.SK Mahal, Principal Amarpal Singh, Principal RK Dhawan were present.
