Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev

Bhagat Singh Foundation a World-renowned NGO in the name of the Real Hero of India Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh, organized ‘Tiranga Candle March’ on the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev & Rajguru, paying a tribute to the real national heroes. It was a peaceful candlelight vigil, organized by the NGO like every year, to pay tributes the greatest heroes and Martyrs of the Nation. The March begun from R-Block Chowk in Dilshad Garden, East Delhi and covered all the prominent areas of the district. Spearheaded by Founder of The NGO, Jitender Singh Shunty (Nagar Sewak), President of the Women’s Cell of the NGO, Smt. Manjeet Kaur Shunty & current President of NGO, Sh. Hanuman Lakhotiya, the Vigil had a humungous crowd of various age group from Children to youth to the Senior Citizens where people came in to support the cause.
“Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev are immortal. What they have done for the nation is unprecedented and we are breathing air of freedom just because of their brave efforts and sacrifice of lives. This candlelight vigil is an effort by our NGO and our members and volunteers to pay homage to the greatest martyrs and sons of the soil.” Said Jitender Singh Shunty.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal (Regd.) is a social service organization which is actively involved in many social welfare activities such as free cremation for unclaimed and poor dead bodies, free hearse van, free 24 hrs ambulance Service, free blood donation and distribution of free tricycle for handicapped., disaster management, free recreational services for senior citizens, HIV awareness, youth Sports Club etc. This organization also has been an active member of Delhi disaster Management.
The Founder President of the NGO Mr. Jitender Singh Shunty has even been awarded the Red & White Bravery award and the NGO has also won ‘Bhagidari’ awards twice for best NGO in Delhi (Highest honour for an NGO).
