Nominations Invited for National Award Nari Shakti Puraskar-2020 till Jan. 31

Kapurthala, January 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Ministry of Women and Child Development has invited nominations for the Nari Shakti Puraskar 2020 , the Highest Civilian Honour for Women in India . The coveted award is conferred on those who have been working incessantly towards the cause of Women Empowerment and have made great contribution towards upliftment of Women in society .

              Deputy commissioner Deepti Uppal said that nearly 15 Nari Shakti Puraskars will be awarded on 8th March , 2021 i.e. on International Women’s Day .

            Talking about the Eligibility Criteria, she said that the applications is open to individuals , Groups and institutions for outstanding work towards empowerment of women.

The Individual applicant must be at least 25 years of age and Institutions must have at least five years of experience.

            She also made it clear that only online nominations / applications submitted on www.narishaktipuruskar.wcd.gov.in portal shall be considered. The last date for submission of nominations / applications is 31st January, 2021. Besides that the Guidelines and application form can be downloaded from the website of Ministry of Women and Child Development. The desired documents for nomination are to be submitted on www.narishaktipuruskar.wcd.gov.in portal.
